For those who may not be familiar with this feature (Cryptic did it with CO as well). You can save your character's design at the tailor. This will save it to a file which can then be loaded when you make your new character. This way, you won't have to recreate that special look you worked on in beta.

Go to the tailor.
Select modify
Click on SAVE.
Hit cancel to back out of the tailor.

You can do the same with your BO's

FYI, the character creator file is located in the games folder under 'screenshots'.

I believe the default install path is something similar to:

c:\program files\cryptic studios\star trek online\live\screenshots

Before anyone asks...no...this will not save any character stats, levels, etc. It's only for the 'looks' of the character.

Another nice feature of this system is that the files can be shared with other players. It's a great way to create a Fleet official
