<< SancTuarY of Wanderhome Member Guidelines >>
First I would like to say that our mission at SancTuarY of Wanderhome is to maintain a place that is an enhancement to your gaming experience. This guild was intended to be a group of individuals who strive to make Wanderhome Server a better place to be for our members. Myself and the Administration understand that all of our players have "real-life" matters to attend to. We also want SancTuarY of Wanderhome members to be sure to have your "real-life" in order before playing. Having your "real-life" goals achieved and maintained makes playing your game of choice alot more enjoyable. - Astrus
Here are a few guidelines that we'd like to see our members try to uphold:
1. Please do not return verbal abuses. ....If someone in game verbally abuses you, please Screenshot the conversation you are having w/ that person, and get in contact w/ one of the S.o.W. Admins as soon as possible. Cryptic also has Terms of conduct that its customers must abide by. If you are the victim of a player who is in violation of these terms, get in contact w/ a S.o.W. Admin/Ambassador and file a harassment Ticket ASAP. SancTuarY of Wanderhome Administration are huge fans of ignoring idiots. Please use your player ignore function when needed.
2. No Complaining about the lack of Guild Activities....S.o.W. at the moment, has a large, active member population. But there are still some things that members may want to do. We believe that if you have the energy/time to type in guild chat/forums about not having a guild activity to go to, then you probably have a good idea of what a good guild activity is, and you could use that energy to try and organize a guild function. The forums and ventrilo are here for communication and we'd more than welcome anyone’s initiative to start a guild function. Complaining without efforts to make the guild any better will not be tolerated.
3. Help when you can ...... SancTuarY of Wanderhome applauds our members who go out of their way to help one another. But helping or giving guild members free products is not mandatory. Only give or help when you can. We want everyone to have fun and be as stress free as possible. When you log in it should be an escape from the stresses of "real-life" not a additive to your stresses.
4. Have Fun.... Sometimes we log in and we get caught up in the grind, and becoming more proficient at our professions or just making credits. Take out time to do something in game that has no stress at all. Make sure the game is fun to you at all times.
5. Represent SancTuarY.... SancTuarY of Wanderhome does not allow alternate characters, of our members, to be allowed in other guilds. We are a proud guild, family'esque even. Also, in the past we have had problems w/ other guilds trying to 'steal' our members, in multiple MMORPG's, while working w/in our guild, therefore having multiple guilds is out of the question at this time.
Due to guideline #8 we do not allow members to sign guild/fleet charters for other people while being in SancTuarY of Wanderhome, in an attempt to help someone start a guild. Signing a guild/fleet charter will put you in violation of guideline #8.
6. Ventrilo Guidelines - Ventrilo is mandatory in MOST cases. Install it and have it ready to go, when needed. Please read the Ventrilo Guidelines link above. Having a microphone is not mandatory, just being able to listen will suffice.
Staying in ventrilo in Star Trek Online is very important, and here is why. Reading this topic is a must too!
7. SancTuarY CALL TO ARMS: If a member has been camped for 40 minutes or more, and the time that they have been camped has been verified by a Guild Leader or Administrator, ALL SancTuarY of Wanderhome MEMBERS MUST respond to the CALL TO ARMS. In a usual CALL TO ARMS situation we will go out as a guild and kill the camper AND EVERY ENEMY ON THE MAP....we will scour the entire map and kill EVERY ENEMY WE SEE. So if you have a friends from the enemy faction in the area, tell him/her to clear out. Not responding to a CALL TO ARMS can result in removal from the guild. IT IS YOUR DUTY to ask who is the leader of the raid group and YOUR DUTY to see to it that the leader of the CALL TO ARMS raid group invites you ASAP. We will not tolerate the abuse of our members by the enemy. Here's an example of a typical CALL TO ARMS. Raise Up!
8. If you leave, dont ask to come back. Every member in this guild should be expected to make rational decisions in the face of conflict. If you have a problem w/ the guild please talk to a Guild leader or Adminstratior/Ambassador BEFORE you leave. If you leave SancTuarY of Wanderhome make sure that youll never want to come back.
9. Guild Raidisode Loot Guidelines
---------
---------
SancTuarY of Wanderhome is not a guild that totally cares about in-game power. The Novice is just as Important as the Expert. The people who help the most get the most respect in S.o.W..
As with any other respectable organization, Seniority and longevity with the guild is also well respected, and that is how it should be.
Thank you for taking your time out and reading this, and we welcome anyone who respects, and honors these few guidelines.
