I don't remember which publish it is (28? 29?) where they will offer respecs but I except there will be more of us than just Ke'ell & I trying out the free respec :0 I was as thinking it might be really helpful if we made up our own profession guides. I read a lot of the official SOE ones but they aren't really helpful. I think if people who played professions could post up a few good& bad things about their profession, the rest of us could think about if that was a profession we really wanted to try. I'll go first with Smuggler :) The good: 1. It's a ranged and melle profession. 2. You can call up a junk dealer (called fence) whenever you like. 3. Slice terminals which increases your mission payout. This is on a timer but usually by the time I'm done with 2 missions it's ready to be used again. 4. Can call up a NPC to help you with battle. From what I can tell this matches your CL. 5. You do get a bleed special that seems to work rather well. The not so good:( 1. Well, you can't smuggle. Never have been able to!! SOE been saying (for about three years) that they are going to fix this but they still haven't. 2.It's not terrible different from any other ranged combat profession in terms of specials. 3. The snare (at least mine anyway) never seems to work. 4. The timer to re-call a NPC friend is like an hour long :( *We used to be able to make spice, slice weapons for betters stats, slice armour for better stats and open locked containers. So it's been nerfed rather badly.

I've had windows freak out on me before when I changed hardware pieces but not the HD. Bascially it locked up saying that key was registered to another user. So I had to call up microsoft and get it straightened out, they were cool about it though.

Ok. Rebel or Neutral gets X wing. Imperial gets Tie Fighter. You can call it out during battle BUT you can't chose a destination while in combat. There's nothing to attack on it and you don't really ride it anywhere- its like the game shuttles where you just click on them and then fnd yourself teleported to whatever starport/shuttle. There is some odd thing about it where the graphic of it stays showing and it says after I think 2 min something about how your rid has gone away. But you don't have to store it and there is no 'store' option for it. Might be useless for some people but I'm finding it very handing buzzing all over Talus looking for stuff to kill :)

Lucas Arts Press Release The 30 days only applies to new accounts, it wont work for your exisitng one. It's a good way to get somebody intersted in the game though. It comes with 6 CDs for the game but you really don't need those. Just need to go to your account and 'register expansion' and enter the new game key they send you. Basicially its a non-tradable deed that shows up in your inventory. If you have 3 toons on that account, it shows up on all 3 toons. After you create the deed it creates an icon in your commands. When your outside of a town you hit the command icon and if you're Rebel an X-wing shows up. Doesn't work within the borders of a town. Click on the Xwing and you get a map of whatever planet your on and options to port to any shuttle or starport on the current planet. Unlike other space ships & yachts you don't have to be at the port your vehicle is parked at. It doesn't park anywhere. It just is like a taxi, comes out of nowhere. In some ways it can be quicker to wait for a shuttle but if you don't feel like spending the cash OR are out in the middle of BFE, it's a quick way teleport someplace else. I think it might be really useful in PVP (if you can break combat) because you can go anywhere on that planet. It's pretty much geared to the NEW player that doesn't have credits, can use the 30-days of playing, et cetera. I need to play around with it a bit. I'll report back later :)

Otti- I couldnt find it for sale here either LOL I had to order it online from a store. They shipped it to my house. It's amazing the things you CAN'T buy where I live, consideing what big consumers we are.

Correct they are only for the planet you are on. Intra-planet travel. But I have the yacht that does inter-planet travel. So I'm set :)

I was one of the singers for a multiple-funeral of some law enforcement types that was broadcast live on 2 or 3 differnt TV stations last year. I think it ran for 3 hours.....that's a LOT of singing!!! But you guys might have already known that.

If you're looking for something to blow $20 on, I recommend that SWG starter kit. It comes with a nifty private 'vehicle' that can be called from any remote location (ie NOT in a city) and will pick you up and take you to the starport/shuttle of your choice (on that planet). Very nice for schlepping around the galaxy :)

And I always tell people that we are un-greifable, as I smile and keep doing whatever it is that I'm doing that is annoying them :) Yeah we could still get a crew and go to the wookies. I'm still allergic to the wookie quest though, after having put Yva through from 80-89. Thank the Force I looked that LifeDay level-upper-thingy and made it to 90.
