You may or may not have noticed I haven't been on much the last few days.
After three years of stellar performace reviews by my immediate supervisor and approval / endorsement by my Squadron Commander I am now eligible for promotion in the USAF.
I'll be crossing over from one tier to another, right now I'm a worker-bee type. Although my responsibilities as an air traffic controller are obviously monumental as is; I don't have many responsibilities as far as management and supervision is concerned over the facility at large.. that's going to change now [hopefully].
The last, and most nerve wracking step of my promotion consideration process is a lengthy test that covers both my specific career field of air traffic and also general Air Force knowledge and even our history.
That's the reason for this post.. I have been studying on my own time, and a bit at work during light traffic periods but I need to step up the gain and be sure that I am totally ready. Many people do not pass the test with a high enough score to be promoted their first time, and you only get to test once a year.
Basically this is a long winded way of saying I won't be on much and most likely will not be raiding because I've got really freakin' important crap that I should be doing instead!! Lol. I know many of you can relate. I also know that SoW won't skip a beat with me gone, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
Wish me luck and I'll see you guys soon
Devin
